Sarkcess Music and Sarknation boss known as Sarkodie, who is recognized with lots of successes to his music gallery, has disclosed to the public how he ended up featuring Ghanaian singer Castro, who has gone missing over the last six years, to record his biggest song in his Music Career titled ‘Adonai’ with him.
According to Sarkodie, the song he ollaborated with Castro was released in the early part of 2014, and is still the most viewed music video in Ghana on the YouTube platform, with over 60 million views.
Speaking in an Instagram live conversation with legendary beat maker JayQ during Castro 43rd Virtual Birthday celebrate the singer on his birthday, the rapper when asked about how linked up with Castro for the colloboration, Said, he had known Castro during his Radio Rap Show before shooting to fame, and he had always treated him like mainstream artiste in which he was not.
“After I had finished working on the beat, I wanted to get a very good singer to work on the chorus for me. I had tried several times to get in touch with Castro, but he was giving me excuses of be been busy. I didn’t know why, not knowing he had a grudge with me concerning what I did to him he never liked, and I didn’t know anything about it”, the rapper said.
He continued, “I was in the Studio one day and he entered, after our usual vibe, he later prompt me on what I did that he never liked, we finally resolved the issue and later worked on the song”,
Sarkodie in his way of showing love to Castro promised to send an undisclosed amount of money to the family of his colleague artiste.
