In an interview with the school director, Miss Mercy Yarney, said, the Health and Wellness Week celebration was added to their academic calendar in order to promote the wellbeing of children through educating them on what to be taken in and not.

Also, implementing the no packet juice awareness to the parents wasn’t an easy one but eventually, parents cooperated with the school to trash out packet juice and stick to our natural fruits and vegetables.

In addition, she advised parents to avoid feeding children with too much oil foods and sugar drinks by rather giving them more fruits and vegetables.

In an interview with some of the teachers and children, they expressed their joy and happiness about the Health and Wellness Week celebration and how the planned activities helped them.

In conclusion, they call on all parents to do away with the packet juice and embrace our natural fruits and vegetables and also exercise the body as much as possible.
