Former Ghanaian manager of heavy weight rapper Sarkodie and radio personality, Sammy Forson has revealed that Nigerians regard Sarkodie in high exteem to the extent that, they wished he was one of their own. He stressed that the amazing support Nigerians have shown for Sarkodie is so inspirational indeed.
In contrast, he said some Ghanaians do not support their own artists as they always look for avenues to pull them down. Sammy Forson revealed that there are other nationals who wished some Ghanaian artistes were from their country so they can help push them.Sammy Forson
He said during his managerial role, some Nigerians visited him to pay respect to the craft and talent of Sarkodie.
“When I was Sarkodie’s manager, a few Nigerians came visiting and said they wish Sarkodie was Nigerian, they’d have supported him better,” he said on Day Break Hitz on Hitz FM.
