Although top Ghanaian artistes charge huge sums of money before collaborating with new artistes in the music industry, uprising superstar Kwame Yogot is telling a different story.
Central Region’s finest rapper, Kwame Yogot aka the rap comedian made it public that he didn’t pay a any money to collaborate with Medikal and Fameye on his songs.
This is what he said, “When Medikal heard my song Yeeboili he really loved it so personally he requested to do a verse on the song”
“As for Fameye he sent me a message on Facebook which I hadn’t even seen, until I sent him my song wosi ka y3 s3n”
“I sent him the song on Friday evening and by Sunday morning he had already done and sent me his verse through my email”
“I was there when he called me and said why, don’t I like his verse on my song, but I told him I didn’t even know he is done with his part.
“I think when it comes to doing collabos with established artistes your connection with them counts as well as the quality of your song production”.
