Government has finally approved Kantanka Automobile Company longstanding license, to enable the indigenous car manufacturing company from Ghana, to produce and sell their vehicles across boarders.
The Trade Minister, Alan Kojo Kyeremateng disclosed and presented the said license to the management of the Company, headed by the Chairman, Apostle Emeritus Prof Dr. Ing Kwadwo Safo and his son CEO Nana Kwadwo Safo Akofena, after the minister paid a courtesy visit to the Company’s factory at Gomoa Mpota, in the Central Region of Ghana, on Wednesday, 14th of July, 2020.

Mr Kyeremateng indicated that, his outfit together with Ghana Automotive Development Policy, are working hand in hand, to ensure that all the Automobile Industries in Ghana, will receive equal support from Government.
He later urged Apostle Safo, to continue his exceptional work in helping to build the nation.

Approval as Enhanced SKD Bonafide Assembler Under the Ghana Automotive Development Policy (GADP)
We refer to your application for registration as a Bonafide Assembler under the Ghana
Automotive Development Policy, dated 24th of October 2019.
Consequent to your application, the technical Committee of the Ghana Automotive Development Policy conducted an inspection of your assembly facility on the 11th of February, 2020.
We are pleased to inform you that you have met all the requirements under the Ghana Automotive Development Policy as a Bonafide Assembler.
Kantanka Automobile is known with the manufacturing of on road and off road vehicles, with their ranges of vehicles ranging from SUV, Mini – SUV, Saloon and Pickups respectively.
